3. “We Are Called” Come! Live in the light! Shine with the joy and the love of the Lord! We are called to be light for the kingdom, to live in the freedom of the city of God. 26. Offertory Accept, O Lord, the gifts we bring to place upon your table. We do not worship as we ought but only as we’re able.

27. The vines were planted, seeds were sewn. They grew in your good pleasure. What once was common, daily food becomes a holy treasure. Our hopes and dreams, our toils and cares, we lift in prayer before you. Lord, by your grace now come to us, as humbly we adore you.

28. Offertory Prayer P Let us pray. C God of all creation, all you have made is good, and your love endures forever. You bring forth bread from the earth and fruit from the vine. Nourish us with these gifts, that we might be for the world signs of your gracious presence in Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen

29. Eucharistic Prayer P The Lord be with you. C And also with you. P Lift up your hearts. C We lift them to the Lord. P Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. C It is right to give our thanks and praise.

30. P It is indeed right, our duty and our joy, that we should at all times and in all places give thanks and praise to you, almighty and merciful God, through our Savior Jesus Christ. You are the beginning and the end, the giver of all life; We bless you for Mary who bore Jesus your Word made flesh. In the night in which he was betrayed, our Lord Jesus took bread and gave thanks; broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying: Take and eat; this is my body given for you. Do this for the remembrance of me.

31. Again, after supper, he took the cup, gave thanks, and gave it for all to drink, saying: This cup is the new covenant in my blood, shed for you and for all people for the forgiveness of sin. 33. Lord’s Prayer Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever. Amen.

34. P Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! Blessed are all who are called to the supper of the lamb. We extend an open invitation to all the baptized to accept the Lord’s invitation and come to the altar to receive the promise of new life offered through the bread and wine of the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Please come forward at the direction of the ushers to receive these holy gifts. Gluten free wafers are available. The non-communing are invited to come forward for a blessing.

35. “O Lamb of God, to Earth you Came” O Lamb of God, to Earth you came to save us all from the grief and shame. Shorn of your life, upon the tree you hung in deep humility. O Lamb of God, the only son, to us show mercy, Holy One. You save the world from all its sin. Lord give to us your peace. Amen

36. “Jesus the Very Thought of You” Jesus the very thought of you fills us with sweet delight; but sweeter far your face to view and rest within your light. No voice can sing, no heart can frame, nor can the mind recall a sweeter sound than your blest name, O Savior of us all!

37. O Hope of ev’ry contrite soul, O joy of all the meek how kind you are to those who fall! How good to those who seek! O Jesus, be our joy today; help us to prize your love; grant us at last to hear you say: “Come, share my home above.”

38. “O God of Mercy, God of Light” O God of mercy, God of light, in love and mercy infinite, teach us , as ever in your sight, to live our lives in you.

40. Teach us the lesson Jesus taught; to feel for those his blood has bought, that ev’ry deed and word and thought may work a work for you.

41. For all are kindred, far and wide, since Jesus Christ for all has died; grant us the will, and grace provide, to love them all in you.

42. In sickness, sorrow, want or care, may we each other’s burden share; may we, where help is needed, there give help as though to you.

43. And may your Holy Spirit move all those who live to live in love, til you receive in heav’n above all those who live in you.

44. “Let Justice Flow Like Streams” Let justice flow like streams of sparkling water, pure, enabling growth, refreshing life, abundant, cleansing, sure.

45. Let righteousness roll on as others’ cares we heed, an everflowing stream of faith translated into deed.

46. So may God’s plumb line, straight, define our measure true, and justice, right, and peace pervade this world our whole life through.

47. Post Communion Prayer P Lord, it is good for us to be here, for we have tasted your glory in this holy meal. Continue your presence as we go out from here. Open our eyes to see your face shining in every person, and send us to be your servants in every place, for you are life and light of all, both now and forever. CAmen

48. Benediction P May the God of glory dwell in you richly, name you beloved, and shine brightly on your path; and the blessings if almighty God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, be upon you and remain with you always. C Amen

49. “The Spirit Sends Us Forth to Serve” The Spirit sends us forth to serve; we go in Jesus’ name to bring glad tidings to the poor, God’s favor to proclaim.

50. We go to comfort those who mourn and set the burdened free; where hope is dim, to share a dream and help the blind to see.
