Calling on the Name of the Lord • Acts 2:21, 36-41– calling on the name of the Lord = receiving the word in obedience • Acts 22:16– Saul of Tarsus would call on the name of the Lord when he was baptized • Romans 10:12-17– to call on name of Lord, one must hear and obey the gospel call of Jesus • Acts 9:14; 2 Tim. 2:22– the saved must continue to “call” on Lord – live faithfully!
