All About Paige • My background • I grew up in McCall Creek. • I attended Franklin Elementary, Franklin High, and Co-Lin, ASU, and MSU. • My experience • I’ve been teaching 4-H for 4 years. • I have taught children from the age of 8-18 years old. My favorite topic is Family and Consumer Science.

Classroom Neighborhood • Our classroom is a neighborhood. In our neighborhood, we have rules to help us get along with each other. • Our class rules are: • Be on time • Respect Others • Know and follow ALL rules • Listen, do not interrupt • Pay attention to instructions the First time
Homework • I will assign homework when needed. • You will have outside projects that will be due throughout the year. • STUDY FOR TESTS!!!!!
Projects Nutrition and Resource Management • Cook a Healthy Dish-Nutrition One assignment in each chapter • Class Presentation and Report – Country Cuisine or Vacation Plan • Recipe Box or Recycled item
Projects Health Class Design a travel brochure Healthy Choice Poster Portfolio One assignment from each chapter
Tardiness • School starts at 7:57 A.M. • If you aren’t in the classroom by the time the tardy bell rings, I will write you up. • Please see the school rule book for tardy guidelines.
Supplies • Health Class-folder • 1 Subject Notebook per class • Pencils and Pens • One Roll of paper napkins • Cleaning Wipes
FCCLA • County Dues are FREE • Dues $12.00 • Each class will select one person to serve as a County FCCLA Officer • Compete in Jackson, MS- If you when, compete in Nashville, TN
COUNTY FCCLA • THREE PROJECTS • ADOPT A Pre-K Class • Bring a pack of crayons
FCS 4-H CLUB • Cynthia Wilkinson, 4-H Agent • Dues are free • State Fair • Nutrition Class-recipe box • Resource Management –Recycled item • Health Class- poster on healthy choices
FCS 4-H Club • FCS Leadership Team • 5 member team will get to travel to MSU last week of May or June • CLUB CONGRESS CAMP
