Matthew (마태복음) 7:7-8 7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. 7 “구하라. 그러면 받을 것이다. 찾아라. 그러면 찾을 것이다. 문을 두드려라. 그러면 열릴 것이다. 8 누구든지 구하는 사람은 받을 것이며 찾는 사람은 찾을 것이요 두드리는 사람에게는 열릴 것이다.

When Seeking God . . .하나님을 찾을 때 , , , • Seek diligently 열심히(not be lazy) • We can be sure that if we do not seek, we will not find • Seek humbly 겸손하게(not proud) • Don’t say you know it all, you are seeking after God, whom, if He exists, is greater than all our minds can fathom. • Trust logic, but don’t rely on it. Remember our minds our finite • Seek honestly 솔직하게(open mind) • Be open to who God is, not just your assumptions • Seek obediently 순종할 가고하며(prepared to change) • be prepared not just revise our preconditioned notions/ideas, but reform our lives.

Sang Notes You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 너희가 진심으로 나를 찾고 구하면 나를 만날 것이다.-Jeremiah 29:13 • Let us cast aside apathy, pride, prejudice, and sin,and seek God in scorn of the consequences. • We know that to find God and to accept Jesus Christ would be a very inconvenient experience. It would involve re-thinking of our whole outlook on life and readjustment of our whole way of life. • Be open2possibility that u may b wrong. Christ may in fact be true. • Give him a chance to confront you with himself and to authenticate himself to you. Come with the full consent of your mind and will, ready to believe and obey if God brings conviction to you.

  11. Read Luke 15:3-7 The Seeking God (우리를) 찾으시는 하나님 99 – 하나님을 믿는다고 생각하는 사람들 (People who think they believe in God) 1 – 죄인 (the sinner)

  12. Christianity is about God’s salvation, and no other beliefs can compare with this message of a God: who loved, and came after, and died for a world of lost sinners. 기독교는 하나님의 구원에 대한 것입니다. 어떤 다른 믿음 (종교)들은 이 메시지와 비교할 수 없습니다: 우리를 (한 사람식) 사랑하시고, 우리를 찾으시고, 길 잃은 죄인들을 위해 죽으신 하나님.

  14. Sang Notes God has spoken; but have we listened to his word? God has acted; but have we benefited from what he has done? God sought us, and He still is, We must seek Him back. Psalm 14:2-3 2 The LORD looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. 3 All have turned away, all have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.
