Lorri holds a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and an undergraduate certificate in Gerontology. Lorri is starting a Masters in Divinity Program at Emory University Fall 2011.

Davette Taylor Harris – MA Alumni 06’ Davette was in the first cohort of the MA program at GSU. She is currently employed with the Atlanta Regional Commission as a Senior Program Specialist.
Be part of the Gerontology Community • Students are welcome to attend gerontology events, lectures, and meetings • Students can volunteer to participate in faculty research projects • Students are encouraged to participate in community outreach and volunteer activities • Students have access to department computer lab Rice Scholars: Elizabeth Avent and Zachary Redding attending a Gerontology undergraduate luncheon Fall 2010. Elizabeth is taking full advantage of her scholarship and studying abroad in Costa Rica for the summer 2011.

A Gerontologist you all know… • Dr. Zhan is the winner of the 2011 Distinguished Faculty Award in Gerontology • Dr. Zhan has been an affiliate faculty member of the Gerontology Department for over 10 years. • Dr. Zhan has supervised more graduate students in Gerontology than any other affiliate faculty member.
