  2. mini-G - Description • The mini-G is a Multi-gas Portable Detector that sets a new industry standard with: • Exceptional reliability • Ease of use • Innovative features • Economical price • The product provides continuous monitoring of combustible gases, and/or toxic gases and/or oxygen deficiency

  3. mini-G at a Glance Alarm LED’s • The mini-G detector can be configured with one to three sensors. Four gases can be detected when a Bi-Tox sensor is installed • The mini-G has programmable alarm set points for TWA (time weighted average), STEL (short-term exposure limit) and two gas concentration levels per sensor • The user interface is through keypad buttons, a LCD display and LED’s (4x) AA Batteries Blue Backlit LCD Display Glow in the Dark Buttons Water/Dust Resistant Enclosure Sounder & Vibrator Alarms Interchangeable Smart Sensors with CAL Data stored in sensor PCB’s

  6. LCD Display with Blue Backlight LCD Display: • The LCD indicates gas type, measured gas concentration for each sensor installed and battery status. The mini-G is menu driven with several sub-menus • The LCD includes a backlight that activates automatically for six (6) seconds when the "Left" key is pressed

  7. Glow in the Dark Buttons Glow-in-the-Dark Keypad: • The five (5) button keypad glows in the dark making operation very easy and safe when working in confined space/and or low-light conditions

  8. AA Alkaline (30+ hrs) or Ni-MH Batteries (20+ hrs) Best in Class! Batteries: • (4x) AA alkaline non-rechargeable batteries are standard. Battery life should be at least 30+ hours • Optional Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are available with 20+ hours of battery life • mini-G’s innovative design will allow operation with only (1) AA battery installed

  9. LED Indicators LED Indicators: • Two (2) red LEDs flash either slow or fast for Normal, Fault, Warning, and Alarm indication

  10. Flip Screen Flip Screen: • The flip screen feature electronically turns the LCD 180° at the touch of a button for easy viewing when worn around the neck • Depress the "Power/Select“ key while the mini-G is on and the LCD will flip 180° • Repeat steps to flip back to the original view

  11. Smart Sensors Smart Sensors: • mini-G’s toxic and oxygen sensors have PCB’s attached to store the calibration data and CAL curves • Sensors can now be removed from their sockets and all calibration data is stored in the sensor itself

  15. Manual Sample Pump & CAL Adapter • Draw a sample from the confined space using the mini-G and a Manual Pump for a ten (10) minute minimum sample. If the mini-G alarms or the "Peak" reading exceeds a safe level refer to your company's alarm/evacuation procedures • If no alarm has occurred during the above checks, remove the Manual Pump (if one was used) and enter the work area with the mini-G properly worn • The manual sample pump features a unique 28-inch long telescoping design Hand Pump Calibration Adapter

  20. Retractable Leash Retractable Leash: • A 16' Retractable Leash used with the mini-G so the detector can be lowered into inaccessible areas and easily retrieved.
