To start my logo I have added a shield into a blank document. I had got this image of off Google images and saved it. . This shows that I have put the sun image into Photoshop and used the quick selection tool to select the part of the image I want to copy and paste onto the shield. .

  1. To start my logo I have added a shield into a blank document. I had got this image of off Google images and saved it.

  2. This shows that I have put the sun image into Photoshop and used the quick selection tool to select the part of the image I want to copy and paste onto the shield.

  3. I have copy and pasted the sun image onto the shield for my logo. This is the original image without being resized to fit properly.

  4. Here I have resized the image to fit the logo by holding down shift and resizing it correctly. You hold shift down so it does not reshape the image and only resizes it.

  5. Here I have done the same as the sun image and I have copy and pasted it onto the shield to complete my logo. I have then done the same as the sun and made the image smaller by holding down shift and resizing it to fit the logo correctly.

  6. This shows that I have confirmed this so that the tree is now in the right place.

  7. This is my final logo finished. I have also added in a text saying ‘The Ilfracombe Academy’, I have done this to show what the logo is. I have wrote it in a plain and simple font so that it looks more professional.
