Boston Sources: - Local reservoirs-Quabbin, Wachsetts Water Pollution: - Wastewater - Runoffs MDC rangers, in partnership with MWRA, patrol Quabbin & Wachusett Reservoirs /incoming streams within watershed every day Masschusetts DEP made regular checks on waterways Water Sources Singapore • Sources: - Local reservoirs-MacRitchie, Pierce, Seletar - Foreign, Malaysia • Water Pollution: -domestic wastewater - industrial effluent: pre-treated to stipulated stds before discharge into sewage or watercourse where public sewer not available • MOE made regular checks that wastewater is not discharged into watercourses
