Some Policy Questions • Can marine aquaculture expand to ensure the supply of seafood at current per capita consumption levels? • Can marine aquaculture reduce the US dependence on seafood imports? • Can we encourage the development of “sustainable” aquaculture? • What do we mean by “sustainable”?
