READING OF TALES: "THE ADVENTURES OF PINOCCHIO" We found in the story: • Generosity, • Gratefulness • Good manners. Pinocchio is a puppet that behaves badly: he disobeys Geppetto (his dad), doesn’t want to go to school, tells lies…a little rascal, indeed. In the end he realized how to behave and becomes a “real boy”
GENEROSITY Geppetto teaches him to walk, appeases his hunger whit three pears and, though he doesn’t have bean, sells his only worn-out jacket to buy an elmentary reading-book for him.
GRATEFULNESS Pinocchio takes care of Geppetto who is by now unable to work, having spent the last two years in the shark’s stomach. So Pinocchio works to provide for the daily necessities and builds a cart for Geppetto, who can’t walk anymore…
GOOD MANNERS Pinocchio has by now understood what “good manners” are and one day he wakes up and he has become a boy in flesh and blood, as a prize from the Fair for his good behaviour
