Analysis: Needs • More important • Scan Machines - vital • Specialized Applications (Photoshop) • Binding and finishing supplies • Transparency printing • Slide scanning • Meeting area • Consultants! Bernadette
Analysis: Needs • Less important • Video editing equipment • Library of outdated books • Training sessions • Counter storage • Extra cubicle (went from 3 to 2) Bernadette
Analysis: Data • More users / visitors in spring & fall, few summer, no winter. • Users / visitors peaked in early 1990s, steady since 1998. Technology available throughout the rest of the campus. • Scantron usage: mild increase. • Text scanner: mild increase. • Slide scanner: variable, statistically flat. • Color printer use, Audio tape duplication, software, and hardware help have all decreased over time. • Transparency printing is almost non-existent. Jim Edwards said there is really only one person who produces transparencies. • - The number of consultant interventions has remained constant since 2002 at around 200. Bernadette
