  1. Project Overview ICT and English Learning Areas Levels KS3 - Ages 11-14 (shortly moving into primary schools as well) Objectives The objectives of this project were to enhance student’s understanding of programming and game making in an exciting and engaging way, with the aim to expanding their interest in computing. It is also aimed to use Kodu to improve literacy through storytelling with low ability year 8’s and local primary school children. Description The main project consists of a scheme of work aimed at Year 8 and 9 students, this has not only been delivered at Hartsdown but also in other schools across the country, including LilianBaylis in London which I delivered as a 7-week series of lessons. Training has also been delivered to staff from other schools on 2 CPD events and the project is set to expand into a literacy project with low ability year 8’s and primary schools. I have also delivered an introduction to Kodu at Little Ilford school within a deep learning day and within an activities day at my own school.
