  2. Temperature Range The average temperature range in this biome is 5 degrees to – 5 degrees Celsius

  3. Annual Rainfall Precipitation variesfrom about 20 cm of precipitation per year to over 200 cm which of course, is in the form of snow. So, therefore the ground is usually very moist.

  4. Vegetation (plants & trees) British Soldiers a Lichen Polytrichum Moss Pine Cone

  5. Animals Snowshoe Hare Amur Tiger Elk

  6. Net Primary Production For standing water is 800g C/m²/yr

  7. Location (latitude) located between 50 degrees latitude north and the Arctic circle.

  8. Limiting Factor Logging (destroys the animals’ habitat) Low- temperatures (in winter)

  9. Human Impact(positive) CPAWS is working in areas to stop hunting. Also CPAWS is working in areas for people to stop logging. Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society

  10. Culture • People who live in this biome rely on the actual biome • Make clothes out of rabbit and deer skin • Make bows carved from the useless wood • Use wood for making houses
