ISMAPE - The Establishment of Additional Professional Medical Education • The problem oflife-long learning for teaching staff is particularly relevant • medical professionals as doctors, pharmacists, managers come to the Universities from hospitals to provide teaching activities • In the present situation a lot of activities have to be learned on the job place • Hence, an organization role for professional carrier of employees is definitely increasing
Supporting of teaching staff activity • Coaching of the teaching staff is an essential process in the system of medical education • Coaching is a kind of individual support aimed at professional and personal growth as well as personal effectiveness • The concept "supporting" is wider then coaching, it includes not only the relationship between a manager and an employee, but a system of well- organized educational support of staff in their individual goals realization as a participle of the general objective of the University

Methodological aspects • The starting point was a meeting at the University of Strasbourg in autumn 2010 • Determination of the main approaches for medical university teaching staff in compliance with competence-based approaches • Development of qualification requirements for medical university teaching staff in Russia • Collaboration with the Ruhr University Bochum, the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow Medical University , the Omsk State Medical Academy, the Northern State Medical University, the Volgograd State Medical University
Methodological aspects • Collaboration with the Omsk State Medical Academy and the Ruhr University Bochum . Module "Technologies for design and organization of professionally-based education at the medical university“ • Pilot launching of the module for medical university teaching staff training in ISMAPE ( 72 hours, 55 trainees) • Report on the joint meeting of the Academic and Methodological Councils "Development of the competence-based model for a teacher in the sphere of medical and pharmaceutical advanced professional education (Marina Golubchikova, June 2011) • Discussion of the curricula for medical university teaching staff training at the Methodical Council Assembly at the ISMAPE (Marina Golubchikova, October 2011.)

Managerial aspect • Guidelines for quality assessment in advanced professional medical education have been developed and recommended to Departments in ISMAPE • Issues on Quality Control Tools Standardization in Advanced Professional Training are presented in the article published in the Siberian Medical Journal. • ISMAPE experience in quality control system implementation is presented in a paper published in the Collection of Articles for the International Seminar in Omsk (February 2011) • Two articles concerning Quality Control in Medical Education are is published in the Collection of Articles for the International Seminar in Arkhangelsk (February, 2012)
Technological aspect • A tremendous assistance from the colleagues of the Ruhr University Bochum and the Universities of Lille and Nice • Familiarization with the problem-based learning at the Ruhr University Bochum and the technology How to Interact Successfully with the Audience • Familiarization with multimedia and video technologies and products at the University of Lille, and Virtual Francophone Medical University
Technological aspect • Great experience in modern educational technologies exploiting is available at the Volgograd State Medical University and the Omsk State Medical Academy, which will be thoroughly studied and applied by the teaching staff in ISMAPE • The experience of European partners was presented at the Methodological Council in ISMAPE discussing possibility of integrated learning technologies using at the Clinical Departments (Alexander Mankov, December 2011) and during teaching staff training in ISMAPE (February 2012) and the Irkutsk State Medical University (October 2012 )
Technological aspect • ISMAPE own experience was presented at the meetings at the Ruhr University Bochum (Alexander Mankov, November 2010), in Volgograd and in the Northern State Medical University (Svetalana Gorbacheva, October 2011 and February 2012) and at the International Conference "Medical Education in 2012," in the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow Medical University (Marina Golubchikova, April 2012) • The articles regarding peculiarities of educational technologies and quality control mechanisms in medical education are published in the Siberian Medical Journal and in the Collection of Articles issued for the Seminar and Conference in Omsk, Volgograd, Irkutsk.
Practice-based approach • The experience of European partners from the University of Strasbourg, the Lille University (France), the University of Rome (Italy), Ruhr University Bochum (Germany) in mastering of practical skills through "simulation" methods, "serious games" , video education, etc. • Various forms of simulators, phantoms, mannequins are used at the Universities in France, Germany and Italy. • This invaluable experience is being studied at the advance professional training courses
Outcomes of ISMAPE in TEMPUS IV Project • Module "Technologies for design and organization of professionally-based education at the medical university elaborated with the Omsk State Medical Academy • A manual elaborated together with the Omsk State Medical Academy and the Volgograd State Medical University • Quality Control Standards in Advanced Professional Medical Education developed under management of the Northern State Medical University • Didactic Recommendations (co-financing)
Outcomes of ISMAPE in TEMPUS IV Project • Four articles published regarding Tempus IV Project activities • 9 articles in the Collection of Articles for the International Seminars and Conferences • A report about the Project at the Coordination Council for Postgraduate and Advanced Professional Education for Medical Specialists in the Siberian Federal District • 6 reports presented covering the experience of the Academy within TEMPUS IV Project at the Academic and Methodological Councils meetings in ISMAPE
