DX Summit History • The original DX summit was created by OH2AQ team in 1998 and it fast became the world leading DX spot channel changing the DX hunting for good • Jukka Salomaa OH2BUA and Antti Kantola OH5TB were awarded Yasme excellence award for the OH2AQ summit • In 2008 Radio Arcala teamed up with OH2AQ to renew the summit using latest web and server technologies. The new summit debuted May 23, 2008. • Development was done by Admino Ltd and supported by Yasme foundation • Lot of user logic remained similar to the initial DX Summit to maintain continuity in the user space • Couple of feature updates were done over the years • In 2013 desires for better User Experience sparked ideas for next gen DX summit with better personalization and utilization of more available tools and information channels • Especially Voacap OH6BG/VE3NEA and ClubLog by Mike/G7VJR

My DX Summit v1Key Features • New user interface based on one page approach • All filters and key functions on one page • You can select filters very flexibly • Bands or band groups, Modes, Country, Zone (CQ/ITU), Call, Spotter • There can be multiple selections on, eg. 5W0+3.5MHz+7MHz+CW • Also a selection can be negated • You can bookmark various selections as own pages or run in different browser windows/tabs in parallel • QSO propagation prediction through VOACAP (OH6BG) • Band Activity data from ClubLog • API to use DXSummit data externally in log programs and web pages

Final Testing and Launch My DX Summit v1 is at its final stages of implementation Next step is to do small scale testing and later increase the friendly user community Feedback page will be added to enable people to give ideas for development, report bugs, etc. Launch will take place in 1-2 months
