Main changes in 2012/13 • Reduction in HEFCE teaching grant • Universities allowed to charge up to £9,000 Tuition Fees per year (UoP £8,750) • Real rate of interest on the loans for the first time and changes to repayment T&C’s • National Scholarship Programme introduced (Bursaries) • Requirement to provide more information (KIS)
Tuition Costs • Tuition fees are different at each University, up to a maximum of £9,000 per year. • Fees will rise each year in line with inflation. • The University of Portsmouth is charging £8,750 for all full-time courses in 2013/14 (Subject to agreement by the Office for Fair Access)
