In this video-based lesson, students will learn about the processes involved in creating landforms and explore the level of biodiversity in different ecoregions. They will also engage in a fun Pictionary game and complete an ecoregions project.

Pictionary • Each table will contain two teams. Your shoulder partner is your teammate. • 1 partner randomly chooses a vocabulary word out of the bag to draw on the whiteboard. The other partner will try to guess the word. • Each team has 30 seconds to draw/guess what the word is. • No words or numbers may be included in the drawing. Person who draws cannot speak.

Ecoregion Project • Today you will be assigned an ecoregion by group. • You will trace your ecoregion onto butcher paper. • Using the folder of information and a laptop, you and your group will research the ecoregion and follow the rubric to complete your project.
