Purpose: The purpose of this presentation is to illustrate how to correctly record your work hours on the Tulane University Monthly Non-Exempt timesheet.
Frequent Time Reporting Errors • No timesheet submitted to supervisor • Missing or incorrect social security numbers • Missing employee and authorized signatures on timesheet • Missing IN/OUT times • Missing totals • Miscalculating times • Duplicate timesheets submitted to the Payroll Office • Illegible information on timesheets • Faxing documents (sometimes not legible) • Timesheets submitted after the payroll processing deadlines
