The Special schedule for 5th grade is different from the one you might be used to in fourth grade. We rotate specials in this order: • Music. • Library • D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read) or G.R.A.D.E. (Gang Related and Drug Education) • 4. Science Lab • 5. P.E. • 6. Spanish • This means that if today we went to P.E., we will then continue down the list to Friday which will be Spanish. THEN the following Monday we will go to their 6th special, Music. So specials are no longer attached to a specific day. • Students will be responsible for knowing which special they have each day. Our webpage will also have the Specials for that week. • If there is no school during the week, the rotation will also have a “day off” meaning we pick up where we left off on the rotation once school resumes.
