  3. Defining Prayer “Ask” sounds selfish • You do not have, because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. James4:2,3 Don’t ask, don’t receive Do ask, don’t receive

  4. The request “Teach us to pray” ??????? – lack of formality; Abba; Boldness; expectation???????

  5. The Prayer Introduction: “Father” - Relationship I. God’s Purposes “Holy” “Your Kingdom Come” II. Personal Requests “Daily Bread” “Forgive Our Sins” Conclusion: “And (you) lead us… ”
