  6. Lessons Learned through Research • Cultural differences in values • Historical • Human subjects • Cultural specificity • Qualitative research • Building a web of trust

  7. Factory Visits • Workers were very receptive • Eager to speak of the movement and discuss both challenges and successes

  8. Ways that I Incorporated Research into my Studies in the US • Honors thesis senior year • Class “Anthropology in the Real World” • Further human subject research working with Peace Corps volunteers • Investigating job possibilities
