Mahabodhi Temple. Bodh Gaya is associated with the enlightenment of Lord Buddha (566-486 B.C .).  It is believed that this tree is the direct descendant of the original tree under which Lord Buddha meditated . The place is highly venerated by the Buddhists. Humanyun Tomb.

Humayun died in 1556, and his widow Hamida Banu Begum, also known as Haji Begum, commenced the construction of his tomb in 1569, fourteen years after his death. • It is the first distinct example of proper Mughal style, which was inspired by Persian architecture. • The principles of Persian architecture  are being used in the structure.
