Look at the last line in “Homesickness.” Do you think young Roald Dahl is sincere? Why or why not? If you finish then read pages 99 -108 and answer the following question. • Write a detailed description of Roald Dahl's mother based on her portrayal in “A Drive in the Motor Car.” Helpful Definitions Villain – An evil person or character who tries to hurt other people because they truly enjoy it. Sincere – Being honest and truthful; truly meaning what you say (even if it doesn’t end up being true in the end, you mean it.) Portrayal – How someone is described. What their actions and words say about them as a person.
