  10. Gulf • An arm of an ocean or sea extending into the land • Usually larger than a BAY

  11. Sea • A large body of salt water • Smaller than an Ocean

  12. Strait • A natural, narrow waterway connecting two larger bodies of water

  13. Canal • A man-made narrow body of water connecting two larger bodies of water Suez Canal Egypt

  14. Lake • A body of water completely surrounded by land Lake Victoria
