  11. Do Listen

  12. Do Show Confidence

  13. Do use feeling words. • Hurt • Sad • Confused • Angry • Troubled • Etc.

  14. Do notify an adult

  15. What Not to Do: • Don’t act shocked • Don’t ignore the situation • Don’t just try to make your friend feel better. • Don’t try to make them feel guilty • Don’t ever promise to keep a suicide plan a secret!
