  2. Double-click on the component value Set the value to {R_val}

  3. Place the part PARAM and double-click it to get to the options. Set NAME1 to R_val (w/o { }) and give it a default value for VALUE1 (1k in this case)

  4. In Analysis Setup: click Parametric… then change the Swept Var Type to Global Parameter, Name to R_val, and Sweep Type to Linear. Then set the Start Value, End Value, and the amount to Increment by.

  5. Next setup the desired analysis method for your simulation, in this case it is Transient. Run the simulation, and you get…

  6. Display all available sections, and PSpice displays the output for the transient analysis on the circuit with each value of R_val.
