Android 5.0, Lollipop A sweet new take on Android How to set up Android 5.0, Lollipop’s Priority Mode
Priority Mode is one of the most valuable features of Android Lollipop 5.0. It’s mean that all notifications get silenced except the ones that you define as important. • Hit the volume down button and you will see three options. All: means all notifications will come through.None: means no notifications will come through, andPriority: means only some notifications will arrive.
Hit the gear icon to decide which notifications come through. Here's where you decide what notifications or interruptions you want to hear. You can toggle events that are reminders, Calls and Messages.
The “calls/message from” option is probably the most useful because it lets you silence all calls and message except for your starred contacts. So, you can star your mom, your spouse or your boss so that their calls come through no matter what.
You can also schedule priority mode for a specific time. You can also enable or disable the priority mode at any time with using the volume down button and use the two options to determine when priority mode expired.
