Daily Life At San Antonio de Padua • Indians , Native Americans, Padres and soldiers lived at mission. • They helped build a storehouse, chapel and rooms for padres and soldiers.
Special Features *There were rooms for padres The indianshelped build the church, so they could do prayer Something unique about San Antonio de Padua is that so many people worked hard to make it look good.
Fray Juipero Serra hung the bell in an oak tree in the seclulded valley. • Most of all the buildings are made out of adobe bricks. • They made the cementary 153x125 ft. surrounded by a high thick wall of stone, topped with adobe. HISTORIC HIGHLIGHTS
Mission Today Mission San Antonio de Padua looks like a small town today. It is one of the best restored out of all the missions.
