Giufà and the moon. Giufà is a hero!. One night Giufà passed by a well and saw the moon reflected in the water. He thought it had fallen down in the well so he decided to rescue her. He took a bucket and tied it up to a rope then he threw it into the well.

  1. Giufà and the moon. Giufà is a hero!

  2. One night Giufà passed by a well and saw the moon reflected in the water.He thought it had fallen down in the well so he decided to rescue her. • He took a bucket and tied it up to a rope then he threw it into the well.

  3. When the water was still he saw the moon reflected in the bucket so he started pulling up the bucket with all his strength. • However in goingup the bucket got entangled in the well. • So Giufà started pulling the rope with even more strength until he broke the rope and fell down upside down

  4. Raising his eyes up, looking for a foothold to lift, he saw the moon in the sky. His satisfaction was great and he said to himself out loud: I fell to the ground and I’m a little bruised, but at least I saved the moon from drowning.
