Class Assignment The travel agency loved your PowerPoint presentation and has hired you to redesign the company image by designing a logo that will be used on print materials, product packaging, and commercials. They have given you permission to create a new name for the travel agency to include in your logo design.
Steps Create a name for the travel agency Use Google Images to search for graphics, pictures, or symbols that you could use in your design Open Excel Begin by inserting graphics/pictures/symbols, selecting font styles and sizes, determining a color scheme, and incorporating such into a logo design Group your logo components, copy the group to Paint, and save it to your Pictures Folder as a JEPG file
Remember: • A Logo is an identifier • It stands for who you are or what you do • A Logo is an invisible vocabulary • It is something that someone is drawn to • Great Logos are: • Memorable • Appropriate for the brand • Simple • Consistent—look the same in every situation • Ageless—look fresh for a long time “The Art of Logo Design”, OffBook, PBS Digital Studios, July 12, 2012
