  2. My invention is The Cool Cup. The Cool Cup is a reinforced coffee cup. Every day Americans throw away recyclable cup sleeves. The Cool Cup is a disposable cup reinforced with paper which uses less material than a cup sleeve. This will cut down on the waste that a cup and a cup sleeve produce.

  3. One paper cup is responsible for 0.24 pounds of CO2 emissions. • Americans drink about 400 million cups of coffee each day. This is equal to 146 billion cups a year. • So if you divide 0.24X400,000,000 you would end up with 96,000,000 pounds of C02 emissions! That’s a lot of waste!

  4. This is the way I would like my invention to work • The reinforced paper area will hopefully keep your hand cool while still using less waste than a cardboard sleeve.
