Parental allowance supplement - wage earners • Agreement between the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise and the Swedish Trade Union Confederation • Applies from 01/01/2014 • Remuneration in connection with parental leave • Qualifying period 12-24 months. • A remuneration period until the child is 18 months old. • 10% of SGI (sickness benefit) up to 10 price base amounts • AFA Insurance • administers and pays out the remuneration Föräldrapenningtillägg (FPT)

  4. FPT- does not apply in the case of • Temporary parental allowance ("father days") • Temporary parental allowance in the case of leave for child care • Those who are unemployed Föräldrapenningtillägg (FPT)

  9. Transitional provisions Payment can also take place to an employee whose child was born before 01/01/2014 if corresponding benefits were previously present according to contract and the employee has not used their right according to such contracts. Föräldrapenningtillägg (FPT)
