Last Semester • Database finalized • Administration Section • Event, Contestant/Team, High School, Account, and Setting creation, modification, and deletion features implemented • Event and College Reports implemented • Counselor Section • Contestant and Team creation features implemented • Registration implemented • Student Schedule and Master Schedule Report implemented

  3. Last Semester Cont. • Event Supervisor Section • Scoring Events • Event Contestants ReportTraining Manuals constructed for Administrators and Counselors • Nightly database backups running

  4. Over Break • Counselor Section testing completed by S.C.O.R.E.S. staff • Comprehensive Winner Report finished • Included Pagination for pages with more than 25 records • Bug Fixes • Lots of CSS and HTML changes made

  6. Recent Developments • Server moved to UCS hosted site and is now accessible without VPN • Counselors are currently beta testing the application • Goal of opening outside registration by January 21 or 22

Completed Deliverables • Design and Implementation of the Database • Design and Implementation of the Administrator Functionality • Design and Implementation of the Counselor Functionality • Event Reports • Contestants by College and Event • Contestant Reports • All Contestants, Number of Students Registered by School, Contestant Schedule, Counselor Master Schedule

  8. Outstanding Deliverables • Event Supervisor Section • Internally tested • Will start beta testing when counselor’s section goes live (approximately January 22) • Winner Reports • Comprehensive Winners is completed but not tested • Winners by Division and School are awaiting clarification

Success Criteria • Opening of the Registration Process • Goal of January 21 • Completion of the Registration Process with little or no errors • Cutoff date March 8 • Completion of the Event Supervisor section • This includes creating the training manual for Event Supervisors • Normal Operation/Functionality on the day of the S.C.O.R.E.S. Competition

  10. Timeline • 1/21/2013 – Registration officially opens • 1/28/2013 – Event Supervisor beta testing • 3/8/2013 – Registration Cutoff • Backup of all database information • Print all registration information as backup • 4/6/2013 – Day of Competition

Conclusion • Ahead of Schedule in terms of Development • Need to finish Event Supervisor section • Continue to update formatting and CSS • Issues transferring the system to UCS has put project as a whole behind schedule • Had hoped to open registration 1/2/2013 • Barring any major issues, things are back on track
