  2. Who Invented Robotic Animals? • Jacques De Vaucanson began building the robotic animals in 1738. • The duck is an example of Vaucanson’s first attempt of what he called “moving at atonmy • He decided to make a lot of animals such as, a duck, dogs and more animals

How Robotic Animals Talk And Behave • The bigger the animal the harder it is to trick the animal • Its common for squirrels to make screeching noises and display tail shaking so if a real squirrel responds we know we got a conversation going on with talking. • Lots of animals talk, move and have interesting behaviors.

Do they make all robotic animals? • They do not make all robotic animals because the scientist have not discovered all the animals in the world. • For example in the ocean there are many different fish we don’t know enough about to make robotic versions of. • Some day we will have strong enough machines to discover most of the animals but by then we will have more animals to discover.
