  5. Structure of Sessions All sessions will focus on three areas: Data location Data comprehension and interpretation Data use for instructional decision making

  6. What is Assessment?

  7. Educational Assessment • Process for obtaining information that is used for making decisions about students, teachers, curricula, programs and educational policy • Examples include: • Observations • Tests • Homework • Lab work • Portfolios • Research Papers • Projects • Discussion/questions
