OBJECTIVE • The objective of this article is just to satisfy Almighty Allah (SWT), not any worldly reward. الله، الملائكة، سكان السماء والأرض، حتى النملة في حفرة لها وحتى السمك في البحر، وإرسال صلى الواحد الذي يعلم الناس الخير Our Beloved Prophet (PBUH) said: • “Allah, the angels, the inhabitants of heaven and earth, even the ant in its hole and even the fish in the sea, send blessings upon the one who teaches the people good.” [Hadith: Tirmidhi].
Death Death is the reality from which none can escape [Al-Quran: Surah: Ankaboot: 29:57]. It draws nearer every day, every hour, every minute. According to the CIA’s The World Fact Book 2007, almost two people die each second. That’s a staggering 62 million people each year! Every single human being will reach this inescapable fate, regardless of their age, health, background, social status or piety. Where are the past kings, the billionaires and the powerful? Where are the once beautiful, the famous, and the intellectual elite? Death is not a disaster, but simply a passing from this world onto the next. It should make us reflect and ponder about the purpose of life, and what will become of us after death. Allah (SWT) has informed us in the Holy Quran : “And I did not create the Jinn and mankind except to worship Me. ”[Al-Qur’an: Surah Ad-Dhariyat:: 51:56]. Allah (SWT) has also informed us : “ He who created death and life to test you as to which of you is best in deeds. ”[Al-Qur’an: Surah: Al-Mulk: 67:2[ Imaam Ghazzi (RA) explains, that the soul is removed from the body in stages (as mentioned in the Holy Quran): it is first taken out from the feet followed by the shin and then the thighs after which the chest is affected and at that moment the power of speech is lost. When the soul is taken from the throat, the faculties of sight and hearing are exterminated. Note:. The concept of worship in Islam is all encompassing and is not merely restricted to praying. In fact, any action that is pleasing to Allah is considered an act of worship, and a person will be rewarded for it.
Death according to the • HOLY quran Meet with Allah (SWT) So let him who hopes to meet his Lord do good deeds, and let him join no one in the worship of his Lord. Al-Quran: Surah: Al-Kahf: 18:110. إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ Return to Allah (SWT) Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. Al-Quran: Surah: Al-Baqarah : 2: 156. قُلْ يَتَوَفَّاكُمْ مَلَكُ الْمَوْتِ الَّذِي وُكِّلَ بِكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ تُرْجَعُونَ Seizing of the Soule: ‘The angel of death that has been put in charge of you will cause you to die; then to your Lord will you be brought back. Al-Quran: Surah: Al-Sajdah: 32:11.
A sure promise & truthful meeting DEATH A decisive decree & judgment A cup that all the people must drink From
A Believer at the Time of Death Allah (SWT) says: “Verily, those who say: Our Lord is Allah (alone), and they stood straight, on them the angels will descend (at the time of their death)(saying): Do not fear, nor grieve! But receive the glad tidings of Paradise, which you have promised! [Al-Quran: Surah: Fussilat: 41: 30 – 32.] Our beloved Prophet (PBUH) said Indeed the believing servant, when he comes to the departure of this life, angels come down to him from the sky, their faces so white and bright, it is as if their faces were the sun. They will have with them a shroud from Paradise and embalm from Paradise, and they will sit as far away from the deceased as the eye can see. Then the Angel of Death will come and sit beside his head and say, “Oh good soul (In another narration: “Oh soul, safe and peaceful”), come out to forgiveness and pleasure from Allah.” The soul of a believing dead person moves up from the toe towards the head. This happens even if a person is drowned in the sea or falls from a mountain. The believer’s soul then comes out (easily and gently) like a drop flows from the spout of a water skin. The Angel of Death will then take it. Another narration: when his soul is taken out, every angel between the heavens and earth send prayers upon him. The gates of heaven are opened to him and all gatekeepers will call upon Allah, asking that his soul ascend by way of them. The Angel of Death will take the soul and when he has taken it, the other angels do not leave it in his had even for the blink of an eye before they place it in that shroud and embalms (from Paradise). [Hadith: Abu Dawud, Ahmad, an-Nasai and Ibn Majah].
A Disbeliever at the Time of Death Allah (SWT) says: "If you could see when the wrongdoers taste the pangs of death and the angels stretch their hands out, [saying], 'Deliver up your souls. This day you will be awarded a degrading punishment..[[[Al-Quran: Surah: Al-Anam: 6:93] Our beloved prophet (PBUH) said Indeed the disbelieving (In another narration: wicked, immoral) servant, when he reaches the departure from this life angels [harsh and severe] come down from the sky to him, their faces dark. They will have with them sackcloth [from the fire.] They will sit as far away from the deceased as the eye can see, then the Angel of Death will come and sit beside his head and say, “Oh filthy soul, come out to displeasure and anger from Allah.” The disbeliever’s soul will then scatter, dispersing throughout his body, but the Angel of Death will rip it out violently similar to how a skewer [with many forks] is yanked through wet wool [ripping with it the veins and nerves]. Every angel between the heaven and earth will curse the person. The gates of heaven will be closed and there will be no group of gatekeepers except that those angels will call upon Allah, asking that his soul does not ascend by way of them. The Angel of Death will take the soul and when he has taken it, the other angels do not leave it in his had even for the blink of an eye before they put the soul into that sackcloth. There will emit from the soul a stench more disgusting, offensive than any decaying carcass found on the surface of the earth.
A Disbeliever at the Time of Death Continue • Our beloved prophet (PBUH) said The angels will ascend with the soul and will pass no group of angels except that they will ask, “What is this filthy soul?” The angels carrying the soul will answer, “He is So-and-So, the son of So-and-So,” calling him the worst names he used to be called in life. The angels will continue rising with the soul until they come to the end of the sky of this world. They will seek permission for the next heaven to open for him (the soul) but he will be refused entry. Allah’s messenger then recited: The gates of heaven will not be opened for them, nor will they enter Paradise until a camel enters into the eye of a needle. Then Allah will say, “Write his book (of deeds) in Sijjīn, in the lowest earth.” It will then be said, “Return my servant to the earth, for surely I promised them that from it I created them, to it I will return them, and from it I will bring them out once again.” His soul will then be thrown [from the heaven] with a single toss [and fall into his body]. The prophet (PBUH)then recited: And whoever associates with Allah partners in worship, it is as he had fallen from the sky and was snatched by the birds or the wind carried him down to some remote place. And so his soul will be returned to his body. He will then be able to hear the footsteps of his companions’ shoes as they turn and walk away from him. [Hadith: Abu Dawud, Ahmad, an-Nasai and Ibn Majah].
Who is Wise? A True Believer Our Beloved Prophet (PBUH) said that wise is the man who understands the purpose of his life, and is aware of the reason which brought him into this world, then remember death abundantly and consistently, this keeps preparing for what is after death, doing everything he could do for the life after death, finally leaves this world having lived in it like a traveler. [Hadith: Bukhari] Explanation: After you born, you cried, on the other hand all of your family members and relatives were happy, laughed and praised you. Explanation continue: If you lead a life based on Quran & Sunnah, during your death you will be smile, because you can hare good news from Angel of death. But that time your relatives, friends & family member will cry. যখন তুমিএসেসিলাভবে কেদেসীলে তুমি হেসে সিলেসবে এমন জীবনকর হেগটন মরনে হাসিবে তুমি কাদিবে ভবন

Signs of a Bad Death 1. Dying While Performing An Act Of Disobedience When angels take the souls of those who die in sin against their souls, they say: "In what (plight) Were ye?" They reply: "Weak and oppressed Were we in the earth." They say: "Was not the earth of Allah spacious enough for you to move yourselves away (From evil)?" Infant’s Death Lead Parents To Paradise The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: “When a person's child dies, Allah the Most High asks His angels, ‘Have you taken out the life of the child of My slave?’ They reply in the affirmative. He then asks, ‘Have you taken the fruit of his heart?’ They reply in the affirmative. Thereupon he asks, ‘What has My slave said?’ They say: ‘He has praised You and said: Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un (We belong to Allah and to Him we shall be returned).’ Allah says: ‘Build a house for My slave in Jannah and name it Bait-ul-Hamd (the House of Praise).’” [Hadith: Tirmidhi] Jabir ibn Samrah (RA) quoted that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "One who buries three of his children and is patient about his loss and rests his hope on being compensated for his loss by Allah Almighty, it will be incumbent that he should be lodged in Paradise." Umm Ayman asked, "What if he buries two?“ The Prophet (PBUH) said, "It is so if he buries two and is patient about his loss and rests his hope on being compensated for his loss by Allah Almighty, it will be incumbent that he should be lodged in Paradise.“ Umm Ayman asked again, "What about burying only one son?" The Prophet took to silence. After a short while he said, "O Umm Ayman! If someone buries one son and is patient about his loss and rests his hope on being compensated for his loss by Allah Almighty, it will be incumbent that he should be lodged in Paradise.“This tradition is narrated by Al-Sayyuti in Al-Durr Al-Manthur, Vol. 1, p. 159, and in Al-Jami` Al-Kabeer, Vol. 1, p. 777 with a difference in wording. O Ibrahim, we are grieved for you."
We almost die every night is it true ? • Yes, it’s true, sleep is a kind of death, in Islam it is call that small death, our soul leaves the body when we fall asleep and is kept between hands of Allah (SWT), if He (SWT) sends it back we wake up if He (SWT) doesn't we die, which is mentioned Allah (SWT) in His Holy Quran. اللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى الأنْفُسَ حِينَ مَوْتِهَا وَالَّتِي لَمْ تَمُتْ فِي مَنَامِهَا فَيُمْسِكُ الَّتِي قَضَى عَلَيْهَا الْمَوْتَ وَيُرْسِلُ الأخْرَى إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ “It is Allah that He (SWT) takes the souls (of men) at death; and those that die not (He takes) during their sleep: those on whom He (SWT) has passed the decree of death, He (SWT) keeps back (from returning to life), but the rest He (SWT) sends (to their bodies) for a term appointed. Verily, in this are signs for a people who think deeply”. [Al-Quran : Surah: Al-Zumar: 39: 42]: 39:42]. لْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُور Supplication after sleep: “All praise to Allah (SWT), Who revived us to life after given us death, and to Him we shall have to return”. Note: We have to realize that death knock our door every single night. So before we sleep we have to make sincere tawba and ask Allah (SWT) to forgive all of our sins. Also we have to forgive every one with whom we dealt in the day time.
Any good deed that a Muslim starts during his lifetime, and that is of renewed benefit and ongoing use for the Muslims, will continue to benefit him and augment his record of good deeds, even after his departure - as long as its benefits continue to reach others. Allah, the Most High, says: "We record that (deeds) which they have put forward and their traces (that which they have left behind)." [Al-Qur'an 36:12] Our beloved Prophet (S) said, "When a human being dies, all of his deeds are terminated except for three types: an ongoing sadaqah, a knowledge (of Islam) from which others benefit, and a righteous child who makes du'a for him." [Hadith: Muslim] ON GOING CHARITY DEEDS THAT CONTINUE AFTER DEATH Righteous Child who Make dua Knowledge Which benefit others
Story: the Wise King O ye who believe! fear Allah; and let every soul look to what it sends forth for the tomorrow. And fear Allah; verily Allah is Well-Aware of what you do. Quran: 59:19 In a far away land, there was a beautiful kingdom with its unique rule. The rule said, everyone may become the king, with all of his rights to govern the country for five years. After that he must be detained, his body will be tied and he will be thrown away to remote island where the jungle is thick and there are plenty of wild animals and no human. Then, one by one, people became the king. The first man said ok, I am ready to be the king. And he became a king for five years. What he did in his five years was enjoying his position. He threw big parties, went to many beautiful places, married many women, collected many luxurious things and did the other things that please him. Those were all he did. Until one day the time came. One morning when the king woke up, suddenly come their strong soldiers came to his palace and said, we come to here under the order of constitution. You have become a king for five years. And now the time comes when we should seize you and take you to remote island. The king wasn’t very surprised of this, because he knew that the time would come. He just felt that the time passed by too fast. He had enjoyed himself in the past five years but now he had to leave all the things that had made him happy, and would undergo living in the very dangerous island. He was very scared but could do nothing and had to accept his destiny with tears in his eyes. And when they got there, the soldiers put the dethroned king in jungle and left him alone. They didn’t know and didn’t care about what would happen to him. All they heard when they left that island was just the voices of wild animals and the long scream of the former king. And then silent again. Back to the kingdom. The constitution was still effective. And now, there is a second king. Then the time showed that he behaved similarly with the first king. He used his time to enjoy extravagant life, but after his five years was over, the souldiers took him and brought him to the island. He cried on the day he was thrown away to the remote island, and the voice of wild animals mixed with his scream was heard after he was left alone there. Every other king was the same. Each one of them just copied their predecessors story. Laugh in the beginning, but cry in the end.
Story: the Wise King Continue One day, a young man came and declared his wish to be asking. By the constitution he was granted his wish. He would be a king for five years before being thrown away to the island. But if other kings would follow their passion for having fun after being being inaugurated, he didn’t. He realized that his time was only five years. Even if he had a happy life in the five years, his life as a king would come to an end. So the king was always seen to be thinking. And not very long after that, he made a surprising decision. I won’t make an extravagant live, but I attempt to use all of my power, even have to suffer, to prepare my life at the remote island. In the first year he sent troops, veterinarians, and animals trainers to the dangerous island. The mission was to control the population of wild animals there or domesticate them for good use. Well the mission was so huge that it consumed a lot of the country resources. But it was the kings decision and he had calculated it, wand he was ready to make sacrifices. So, all things had been used by all kings to have their fun, now is used by the new king in this mission. He really dedicated all of his energy to the mission. The mission was successfully done. In the second year, he sent a lot of farmers to the island to start a wide rice field there. In the third year, he built a lot of facilities on the island, from electricity to hospital. In the fourth year, he sent a lot of educated people like engineers, accountants, and many others to the island. In the fifth yr., he sent his friends & his relatives to that island. And finally the time came when the king had to be thrown away to the Island. In the morning of the big day, the king smiled his widest smile ever in five yrs. When many strong soldiers caught and roped him, his smile grow wider. And finally he laughed a great laugh when the soldiers threw him to the island. Yes, how wouldn’t he laugh? If the previous king found thick jungle and so many wild animals when they were being thrown away, the last king found many exciting things needed to live comfortably. All of his family were there and welcomed him. They cheered, Long live the wise king, long live the wise king! And the wise king lived happily ever after. Lesson Learning: The story has a very good lesson for all of us. Actually everyone of us is like the king. We are given time to live in this world and do whatever we want. But after the time ends, we will be detained (by Izrail, the death angle), and being roped (with kafan) then finally thrown away to the very dangerous place (grave, with its snakes, scorpions and torturer angles) So many people are tricked by their life in the world. All they do in this world is all fun for them, and forget that the time will come when they will face a very different life. And when it happens, they are torcherd and suffer forever. But not with the clever people, they live in this world to prepare their next life in the afterworld, just like the wise king. This people will face death with a smile, because they will a very good life in paradise. And the ending for these people is, they live in true happiness forever.
CONCLUSION Allah (SWT) instruct us in His divine message "O you who believe! Fear Allah as Allah should be feared, and die not except in a state of Islam " [Al-Quran: Surah: Al-Imran:3:102]. Death is inevitable. Our purpose in life is to worship Allah alone, perform acts of righteousness and to avoid all that is forbidden. Our fate is being decided on the basis of our present actions, so we can either make use of our opportunities on Earth to ensure an eternal place for ourselves in Paradise, or we can waste them and condemn ourselves to eternal punishment in Hell. “Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, and indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire.” [Al-Quran:Surah:Al-Infitar:82:13-14.] Oh Allah, give all of us ‘tawfique’ to lead this worldly life as a true believer and depart from this world in a state of Iman. Oh Allah, we sick refuge You from the trial and tribunal in this worldly life, death and the hereafter. Ameen. [Oh Allah! You are Al-Ghafur, The forgiver and hider of faults.
