HOW TO PRESENT THE DIAGRAMS YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE WHERE AND WHEN TO PUT THE DIAGRAM. BEFORE YOU DRAW A DIAGRAM YOU HAVE A MENTAL PICTURE OF THE PAGE MAKE UP. GENERALLY THE DIAGRAMS ARE BEST PLACED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PAGE OR ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE PAGE. surimurthy@gmail.com
NEVER DRAW THE DIAGRAMS ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF A ‘PAGE’, BECAUSE THE EXAMINERS VIEW ALWAYS COVERS MOSTLY THE RIGHT HAND SIDE. SO, IT’S TO YOUR ADVANTAGE TO DRAW THE DIAGRAMS WHERE IT IS MOST VISIBLE TO THE EYE. DRAW THE DIAGRAMS ALWAYS WITH SHARP, DARK PENCILS, NEVER USE PENS OR SKETCH PENS, THEY TEND TO DOMINATE THE OVERALL DESIGN OF THE PAGE. surimurthy@gmail.com
LABEL THE DIAGRAM WITH STRAIGHT LINES AND ARROW MARKS, DON’T PUT MORE LINES AS TO COVER THE DIAGRAM. DIAGRAMS SHOULD NOT BE TOO BIG NOR TOO SMALL, IT SHOULD BE CLEARLY VISIBLE TO THE EXAMINER. LET THE DIAGRAM BE IN SIZE NOT LESS THAN 8CM. AND MORE THAN 12 CMS. WITH 1.5 CM GAP ON THE TOP AND 1.5 CM BELOW THE DIAGRAM. surimurthy@gmail.com
