Come and support the Earthquake & Tsunami relief efforts! As you all know by now, Japan, particularly north-eastern Japan, experienced an unprecedented disaster in the form of a M9.0 earthquake and devastating 10 meter tsunami. The number of casualties is increasing daily, and communities have been reduced to nothing. In addition, fears of nuclear disaster has raised. In light of the current situation in Japan, support from around the world has risen up. It would be highly appreciated if you could help fellow Cornellians and those who suffer in Japan. There are some events going on around campus, and your contribution would be very important for their ongoing efforts to recover. March 15 (Tue) - 17 (Thu) 10AM - 5PM @ Sage Hall Atrium, Cornell University March 16 (Wed) & March 17 (Thu) 10AM - 5PM @ Ho Plaza(in front of Willard Straight Hall), Cornell University Disaster Relief and Outreach at Cornell Website:http://cornell.edu/relief/ Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=193272374046874 Japan - United States Association (JUSA) Website: http://rso.cornell.edu/jusa *What happens to the contribution?* All the donations will be sent to appropriate charities such as the Japan Society, which supports the frontlines of disaster relief and recovery in Japan (http://www.japansociety.org/), and Red Cross.
