Key Learning Objectives • The Virtual Mine intends to teach people about the complexities of the energy industry. • It does this by: • Showing players all the steps in coal processing • Demonstrating the effects of the coal removal on both the environment and the people. • Explaining the benefits of alternative energy sources
Levels • Level 1 • Clear Trees • Blow up Mountain • Clear coal • Deliver coal to processing plant • Level 2 (After seeing the effects of coal processing) • Fly through town and turn off all electric appliances • Level 3 • Explore alternative energy sources and implement them throughout the town.
