  3. Antoine de la Sale’s life Antoine de la Sale was born in 1388 and spentpart of his lifein Italy. During his life he chose to desert his sword to devote himself to literature. He worked for the Borgogna’s duchessAgnese; she asked De La Sale to go to Italy to investigate about the story of the Sybil.

  4. The adventurePart. 1 The French writer said that he didn’t goinside the cave, perhaps out of fear, or maybe because he felt that it was not good to enter into a paradise of demonicreputation, but it describes in details the entrance.

  5. The entrance Antoine de la Sale affirms that there is a rock in front of the entrance and the one who wants to enter the cave has to bend and walk until reaching a squared room, where everything around is carved into the rock, building up “seats”.

The adventurePart. 2 He said that those who wanted to go inside the cave had to overcome a lot of obstacles like: • Overcoming some steel doors that beat day and night without stopping; • Resisting to a strong wind that traileveryone who tries to go through the entrance; • Crossing a very tight bridge above a dangerous river.
