Introduction • Martha McGinn Training & Consultation has been set up to design and deliver high quality evidence-based training to caring services for older persons and people with intellectual, physical and / or sensory disabilities. We specialise in developing tailor made programmes following Training Need Analysis and we are an accredited FETAC registered provider. An Bord Altranais Category 1 Approval will be awarded to learners who complete any of our programmes. Specific training programmes have also been designed to the following accredited standards, such as: • Institute of Leadership and Management • College of Pharmacy Practice • British Institute of Learning Disability Physical Intervention
Mission Statement ‘ To provide learners with courses which emphasises good outcomes for older people, and promotes and protects the rights and dignity of all learners. We endeavour to create a safe, respectful and supportive environment, while making all courses as accessible as possible so that learners from different ethnic, cultural, religious backgrounds or learners who have disabilities can participate in all activities of the courses.
In particular we endeavour to provide training solutions which are of high quality, evidenced based, need assessed, service user and service specific, which deals with the specific challenges that arise in the practice area. Mission Statement

Develop a rapport with learners. Create warm friendly environment Ask learners to give details of their background, learning styles, knowledge on subject and practice challenges. The group is encouraged to ask questions out how the theory might relate to practice and all practice questions are dealt with thoroughly, including using learner’s real situations as case studies, to develop practical guidance.
