Practical ‘Embassy project’ advocacy entry-points/inroads in Kenya

Opportunities and Challenges-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Advocacy is a journey - made of interconnected strategic actions that contribute to a positive change - and it is not a direct route (IPPF) • Lessons learnt so far European CSOs added value in advocating at the decentralized level European donors are very different SRHR capacity needs varies and are difficult to assess Building confidence and partnership is time and energy consuming… … but donors ownership always pays back • Issues at stake Ethical issues with this intervention How to link the 2 levels How to support and not hinder local CSOs work
