Potential Service Scenarios Tourism Scenario: • A mother in Ghent is interested in understanding where the nearest public lavatories with baby changing facilities are located in the city • Working with the Ghent Living Lab, she develops a geo-location-enabled mobile application which enables travelling mothers to quickly locate baby-friendly public toilets closest to them • As the Living Lab in Issy-les-Moulineaux has opened the same data sets in the same format, the application can be used in both cities without the need for adaptation Transport Scenario: • A citizen with asthma who sometimes cycles to work in Athens creates an application that tells cyclists the pollution levels along cycling route. • A citizen in Manchester with the same interests adapts this application for use with the data available in Manchester • Both cities benefit from a ‘smart mobile application’ that makes it easier for their citizens to overcome health challenges and adopt a more active lifestyle
