Prepare documents: • UVic paper application • BCom paper application • Obtain transcripts (translated) • Application fee of CAD $100 • Prepare for UVic English Test When can I apply? • Nov 4 & 5: Come to 2+2 application workshops • Dec 2 or 3: Submit all required application documents on ENG 115 exam day Other Requirements English Test December 2 or 3, 2011 TOEFL/IELTS is not required

Studying in Canada Study Permit • Application forms and a checklist are available on the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website • UIBE students should apply to the Canadian Embassy Office • http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/index.asp Temporary Resident Visa • Students from China are required to obtain a Temporary Resident Visa (multiple entry recommended) Work Permits • Students will need to apply for appropriate work permits (off-campus, co-op work) in order to work in Canada. This step can be completed when you arrive in Canada.
