Symbols and Their Meanings • Menorah: • One of the most important symbols in Judaism. • There are 7 branched Menorahs (the candelabrum with 7 stands) • The 7 branched Menorahs were lit every afternoon in the temples. • The 7 branched menorahs were cleaned every morning. • The symbol of Judaism. • The 9-branched Menorah is often lit during Hanukkah. • Torah: • The Hebrew Bible. • Also known as the Tanakh. • Consists of three parts. • The first being consists of the 5 books of Moses.
