Strategic Planning ProcessFirst Presbyterian Church, 2011 – 2014 2011 2014 • Implementation of the elements of the Strategic Plan: • overseen by Session through the Church Planning Committee • some objectives may fit into existing Ministry Committees of Session or Deacons, for example: • Worship • Education & Discipleship • Fellowship • Youth • Mission • Facilities • Congregational care; life events & visitation • Membership; growth & assimilation • some objectives may need special committees, for example: • a possible new outreach objective • a possible capital campaign Implementation
So what can you do? • prepare yourself to participate • review the material from this report • think about what God wants this church to do • participate in • focus group discussions • the church wide survey • find a way to be involved in implementation of the priority objectives • volunteer to be on one of the implementation committees • PRAY for the future of this church and God’s church in the world
