New RQM 310 Topic:Test and Evaluation • Purpose of Lesson • To develop an understanding within the Requirements community as to the importance of test and evaluation in the DoD acquisition process • Topics to be Discussed • Basic understanding of the types of test and evaluation • Importance of developing measureable/testable requirements • Importance of early involvement of the test and evaluation community in the requirements development process

JCIDS Manual out for commentAnticipate approval in December or January The Manual will be bigger: ~ 350 pages The idea is for it to be a single source (1-stop) • Latest information on Rapid Response activities • Interest in JEONs • Emphasis on DOTmLPF-P and on DCRs • Upcoming changes to DoDI 5000.02 • Revisions to online courses

Additional Questions from the WebinarPage 2 • What sort of requirements training do the Program Managers get in their lower-level courses? • The basic program management training has limited discussion of requirements and of requirements management • Are there courses or training about System Architectures and the Architecture drawings? • The revised JCIDS Manual includes an appendix with a basic tutorial and a list of points of contact • The Program Offices should have Architecture expertise either within the shop or available • This is another example of how working with the Program Offices is important
