Edgar Mueller 3D Street Artist
Edgar Mueller • Country of Origin: Germany • Born on July 10, 1968 • Edgar went to high school in the town of Geldern, where international competitions for street artists took place. • One day one his way to school he decided to enter the competition at the age of 16. He continued to compete and three years later he won the competition. • This inspires me because he began at such a young age and had to ambition to compete with artists that had more experience than him. He didn’t let the more experienced artists intimidate him!
Personal Facts Continued… • Edgar Mueller has held the title of ‘maestro madonnari’, which means master street painter, since 1998. This title is only given to a few artists worldwide. • By the age of only 25, he had completely devoted his life to street art paintings and began traveling all over Europe.
Where Do I Go? This piece inspires me because I interpret it as a person can escape to another place if they use their imagination. Edgar converted a large area of cement into a beautiful waterfall falling into a luscious green valley.
Evolution Evolution inspires me because it shows how much energy and dimension is hidden beneath the Earth that we don’t always remember is there.
Lava Burst I’m inspired by this piece because it creates a creative scenery in such an average neighborhood. Also, I’m in awe of the value he used in this piece to create such a realistic scene.
Unconditional Love The Crevasse Cave

Quote From Mueller • “I wanted to play with positives and negatives to encourage people to think twice about everything they see…”
Why Edgar Mueller inspires me. • Edgar can make any area of cement come to life. He makes an ordinary, everyday scene become extraordinary. His pieces bring joy and amazement to anyone who is lucky enough to come across them. When people see his pieces they exercise their imagination by pretending to actually be in the scene he created.
