Youth for a Culture of Peace and Non-Violence in Mindanao Objective: Selected state and non-state actors (civil society organisations, academe etc.) contribute to gender-sensitive, youth-oriented peacebuilding and non-violent conflict transformation in selected areas of Mindanao. Main Partner: Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (Possible) Implementing Partners: DILG & LGUs, DepEd & CHED & selected universities and high schools, MinDA, NCIP, NEDA, NYC & SK, NGOs and youth initiatives Regional focus as per project offer: Regions X (Northern Mindanao), XI (Davao), and XIII (Caraga), and in the provinces of Maguindanao and Lanao del Sur in BARMM Project duration: March 2019 – February 2022

Youth for a Culture of Peace and Non-Violence in Mindanao Objective: Selected state and non-state actors (civil society organisations, academe etc.) contribute to gender-sensitive, youth-oriented peacebuilding and non-violent conflict transformation in selected areas of Mindanao. Government Actors Civil Society Educational Institutions Approaches adopted by formal education institutions for youth-oriented peacebuilding are strengthened Gender- and culturally sensitive civil society initiatives especially vulnerable young people on peacebuilding and non-violent conflict transformation are strengthened Capacities of state institutions for implementing national, regional, and local strategies for youth development and peacebuilding are strengthened.
