  2. Facts The corvette was introduced in six different generations. The first generation started in the late 1950’s. The Chevrolet corvette is a sports car by the Chevrolet division of general motors that has been produced in six generations. The first generation corvette was introduced in the late 1953 and ended in 1962. Its first design was a white polo convertible. The 1958 corvette received a freshening interior including a longer front end with quad headlamps. The second generations smaller corvette with I.R.S was called the sting ray.
